The jewel in The National Forest’s crown is the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA) at Alrewas, near Burton upon Trent. RB, already a sponsor of the National Forest, is also a Corporate Friend to the Arboretum.
The NMA is Britain’s year-round national site of remembrance. It is a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice and fosters pride in the British Armed Forces and civilian community. There are 30,000 trees planted on the 150-acre site.
RB is not only a corporate friend to the NMA, but also delivered the foundations for all the main buildings on the memorial site – the award-winning Remembrance Centre and the new Aspects events building.
