Roger Bullivant Limited South Wales Office Proudly Continues Over a Decade of Collaboration with Lovell Partnership in Ground Engineering Projects

Roger Bullivant Limited’s (RBL) South Wales office is pleased to celebrate a successful, decade-long partnership with Lovell Partnerships, a leading UK housebuilder. Over the years, this collaboration has contributed to numerous impactful projects across South Wales, and both companies are excited to be involved in further transformative developments. In recent years, RBL has supported Lovell on a variety of major projects, including the Glan Llyn development, the renewal of the former Lansdowne Hospital site, and the extensive Ringland Regeneration project. Additionally, RBL’s role in the progress of ‘The Mill’ development in Cardiff has further cemented the strength of this enduring partnership.

Glan Llyn Development

The Glan Llyn site in Newport is one of the most significant residential projects in the area, with RBL playing a key role in delivering a comprehensive foundation solution on the former steelworks site. Utilising a combination of Driven Precast Concrete Piles and RBeam, RBL has helped advance the project through multiple phases. The project is ongoing, with several stages completed and further development scheduled, showcasing RBL’s commitment to supporting long-term, phased community projects.

Former Lansdowne Hospital Site, Cardiff

RBL has also been instrumental in transforming the former Lansdowne Hospital site into a modern residential community. In this two-phase project, RBL’s installation of its comprehensive precast ground beam system enabled efficient site redevelopment. Now complete, the Lansdowne site stands as a testament to both companies’ dedication to revitalising local communities and bringing much needed affordable housing to the area.

Ringland Regeneration, Newport

The Ringland Regeneration project in Newport is a significant undertaking focused on creating vibrant residential and mixed-use spaces. Here, RBL has installed Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piles to accommodate the demanding requirements of this mixed-use site, which includes apartment blocks with ground-floor retail units. By employing CFA piles, RBL addressed the unique load demands and challenging ground conditions, ensuring a stable foundation for future residents and businesses.

Project Summary

Across these projects, RBL will install in the region of 5,000 piles and 20,000 linear metres of precast RBeam.

Looking Ahead

RBL and Lovell Partnership continue to strengthen their partnership, with several upcoming projects on the horizon. Both companies are dedicated to delivering sustainable, high-quality housing and infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of South Wales communities.

David Johnson, RBL South Wales Area Manager noted, “Our partnership with Lovell Partnership over the last decade is something we are incredibly proud of. The ongoing success of projects such as Glan Llyn, Lansdowne, and Ringland underscores the strength of this collaboration. We look forward to building on this foundation and supporting Lovell in bringing new housing and community developments to life across South Wales.”

With a shared commitment to quality and sustainability, this partnership remains poised to make a lasting impact on the region.
