We’re looking for an experienced payroll assistant to join our payroll department. Reporting directly to our payroll manager, you will assist in the day to day running of the payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of the weekly payroll.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Collation of wage sheets
- Processing payroll amendments and adjustments
- Processing statutory payments
- Calculation of holiday pay
- Dataload process into the payroll system
- Processing and balancing payrolls
- Producing BACS files and all required reports including pension & court orders.
- Reconciliation of weekly reports
- Send FPS weekly to HMRC
- Miscellaneous expenses (outside of meal allowances) and random expense checks to ensure procedures are in-line with HMRC requirements.
- A requirement to cover the monthly payroll and payroll manager during absences.
This is a part time role, working Monday to Wednesday. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to multitask.
